Water and Other Beverages

 

BioDNA Laboratory Services is offering microbiological testing for water and beverages including fruit juices and wines. Detection and enumeration of micro-organisms is performed using standard and approved methods by membrane filtration. Testing is also performed on well water to detect any possible sewage contamination.

BioDNA Laboratory Services also offers services of water testing and environmental monitoring for Pharmaceutical companies. The laboratory has GMP certification approved by the Malta Medicine's Authority and is following standard operating procedures as described in the European Pharmacopoeia.

Testing is performed for the following organisms:

• Total aerobic viable count

• Coliforms / Escherichia coli

• Enterococci

• Pseudomanas aeruginosa

• Moulds and Yeasts

• Salmonella

• Staphylococcus aureus.
