Pharmacogenetic Tests

BioDNA Laboratory Services is offering a list of pharmacogenetic tests that are useful to assess an individual's response to treatment. These tests are divided into two groups, oncogenic and non-oncogenic. Genetic variations in genes involved in drug metabolism can determine an individual's response to treatment.

The oncogenic tests are divided into those used to assess toxicity of chemotherapy and those to determine the response to treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors. The other group of tests is useful to test for mutations in genes that determine variation in enzyme activity leading to poor, intermediate and fast breakdown and excretion of drugs.

Feel free to contact us for more information, on any test required.
